Dr Ralph Webster

BVSc MACVSc(SAS) DACVS-SA
Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons – Small Animal
Registered Australian Specialist in Small Animal Surgery

Ralph graduated from Massey University in 2004. Following a stint in general practice in both Australia and the UK, he completed an internship at Davies Veterinary Specialists in the UK.

Ralph has practiced referral-only surgery since returning to Australia to work at Sydney University in 2009. His residency was completed through the University of Adelaide and private specialist practice, as well as an externship at Michigan State University.

Ralph has a particular interest in orthopaedic surgery, he has lectured in orthopaedics at Sydney and Adelaide Universities and has run numerous CPD courses throughout Australia.

 

Lauryn Barendregt

Veterinary Nurse

Lauryn is an experienced and fully qualified veterinary nurse. She has extensive experience in specialist referral nursing, having worked in multiple specialist hospitals.

Joining the Better Vets team in 2020, she is dedicated to providing the very best patient care and has a keen interest in critical anaesthesia.

When she is not at work she is volunteering at her local church or out camping and adventuring with her husband, their Kelpie Clayton and cat Murray.

 

Renee Roman

Veterinary Nurse

Renee joined the Better Vets team in Sept 2020. She brings a wealth of experience, with a nursing career spanning more than 20yrs. She is committed to a high level of patient care and holds a Diploma in General Veterinary Nursing.

During her career she has worked in small animal practice, mixed practice, and specialty referral practice.

Renee’s fur family consists of a rescue cat named Lionel & a British Blue Cross named Lenny.

 

Lorraine Langmead

BSc (Hons) Pharm, FdSc VN, GradDip VN, Cert IV TAA, RVN
Veterinary Nurse

Lorraine is a British Qualified and RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse. She has worked extensively in small animal veterinary practice, specialist referral hospitals and emergency care.

Lorraine is passionate about high standards of veterinary care and completed the Graduate Diploma in Professional and Clinical Veterinary Nursing through the Royal Veterinary College in 2015. She also has a first class honours degree in Pharmacology and is a member of the British Veterinary Nursing Association and Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Lorraine has a deep-seated passion for specialist nursing and all aspects of animal health and welfare. Outside of work, Lorraine loves running and spending time with her dog, Kodi.
